Pop Cultural Poetry Bonanza

I'm very pleased to have a poem in Double Bill, a multifaceted pop-cultural bumper bonanza of an anthology edited by Andy Jackson and published by Red Squirrel Press.

Double Bill is full to the brim of poems about anything from Brian Clough (Jon Stone's poem on that subject is still making me smile) to the X-Men and each subject faces off against another, related one, including some sneakily inspired juxtapositions alongside the more obvious (but no less pleasing) ones.

TV, comics, music, art and much, much more rock and roil through the anthology's pages - popular culture is treated to some seriously good poetic analysis, mickey-taking and love (with advertising breaks and everything) within these pages. And there are so many excellent poets contributing it hurts!

I also accept private commissions for paintings, sketches and illustrations.

As a published poet I write about the joys of nature and the human devastation of it. I also write poems for brands and businesses to engage their audiences in new and more thought provoking ways.
