Here are six poetry and music films from the Archaeology of the Ear project in collaboration with musician and composer Chris Cundy, all looking at objects in the Neolithic gallery at Corinium Museum in Cirencester. They were made either by Chris or myself.

A couple of poetry films I made, one for my own poem, Off the Map, written during lockdown, and one, ‘Tis Life,
which I animated for the launch of Vanessa Vie’s book, Open Windows, Open Doors, published by New Departures.

Two live readings, recorded nine years apart. The first was filmed on Zoom just after the first lockdown in 2020 in a friend’s shed, for the Gloucester Poetry Festival. The second was filmed by Colin Still at ULU during one of my father’s events in 2o11, not long after the release of my first full collection of poems.

I co-wrote, with Adam Donen, the libretto for a short opera composed by Danyal Dhondy, The Open Cage. It was performed at The Yard in London. You can watch it here.

A couple of straight-to-camera poems from my debut collection Turning, filmed by Dave Andrews as promos.
