An Exhalation of Poems

I've posted seven new poems on the site, written specially for the Retrace: Exhale gig connected to Emily Smith's just-finished Retrace: Scripting Memory exhibition at Stroud Valleys Artspace, responding to the themes of her work, memory, loss and palimpsest. The link to them (see below) will remain active for seven days only, as the poems are in their raw state and need a little more work. The reason I am posting them is that several people who attended the reading yesterday requested a chance to read them again.

They include love poems, fables, visions and hallucinations. Some of them require one to have seen the exhibition, but since there's going to be a book coming with poems and exhibits at some point in the coming months (of which, more when I know it) that's alright. I hope you enjoy them

.<EDIT> I've now removed the link to the poems - I'll post any information on their availability in book form in the near future. Thanks for looking!
